Spanish solar manufacturer ISOFOTON has announced an agreement with Project Energy Distribution that will see the distribution company supply ISOFOTON’s 250w PV modules to the domestic market.
Commenting on the agreement, Ángel Luis Serrano, President of ISOFOTON, said: “This agreement will create synergies for both companies. Project Energy Distribution has turned to ISOFOTON in its search for high quality technology that will give it a clear competitive advantage in the British market. ISOFOTON, as part of its commitment to be present wherever the end customer is, believes it must form alliances with companies that have inside knowledge of markets.”
Steve Wallace, Commercial Director at Project Energy Distribution, added: “We see ISOFOTON as the perfect partner both because it is a pioneering European company and because the high quality of its products will offer added value to our installer network and to the end user.”
The agreement will consist of two phases: an initial phase which will last until the end of this year, and a subsequent phase extending until the end of 2013. However, both companies have expressed their desire to continue working together past 2013.
