Fronius, the Austrian inverter manufacturer, has increased customer confidence by extending its product warranty to 20 years. From July 1 until the end of October 2011 Fronius customers will receive a 20 year warranty on their inverters for the same price as a ten year one.
The extended warranty will apply to all new installations with Fronius IG, Fronius IG Plus, Fronius IG TL and Fronius CL inverters. If customers decide to extend theirstandard manufacturer's warranty from five to ten years, Fronius will then extend the warranty to 20 years free of charge.
“Our devices meet the highest quality standards. We believe in our products, so we decided to extend the warranty on our Fronius inverters to 20 years,” said Sales Directors Franz Dietachmair and Hannes Wendeler.
The warranty extension can be ordered through sales partners or dealers; however Fronius must receive the order by October 31, 2011 at the latest. A warranty extension can also be ordered for a previously purchased Fronius inverter or an inverter that has been recently ordered.
The promotion applies to all Fronius inverters except PV inverters that conform to UL 1741 requirements; PV inverters with a CSA mark; PV inverters for the American market and the Fronius IG 390/400/500 models.
