The annual ecobuild exhibition kicked off yesterday at ExCeL, London, featuring over 1,300 exhibitors in the fields of design, construction and the built environment. As the doors opened at 10:00am, floods of visitors from all over came to see what this year’s event had in store.
Alongside the numerous exhibitors — which are spread out across two halls — the event will hold more than 130 seminars over the three days, covering all areas of renewable energy and design.
As well as featuring those involved in the building industry, this year’s event also plays host to hundreds of renewable energy specialists, with solar PV prevailing as the most prominent presence in the North Hall. Exhibitors include UK solar companies including Solarcentury, Romag and Redland as well as the overseas players such as SolarWorld, AZUR Solar, Enfinity Solar and Sharp Solar.
Visitors to this year’s event range from renewable and building specialists, to college students, to members of the public, keen to see what’s going on in the eco building environment.
The Solar Power Portal team is also exhibiting at ecobuild, with journalists keeping on top of what’s happing, reporting live from the event. Come by and say hello at stand S2259.
